Right -
So I've been doing some Recreational Thinking as of late (awesome sport, that, really relaxing) primarily about Fermat Primes and Colossally Abundant Numbers (like I said, really relaxing). Having toyed with the seemingly absurd notion that a Prime number could have non-prime factors that can quasi-meet the prerequisites of being Abundant, and simultaneously the very not-absurd notion that users of the RuneScape forums cannot contemplate numbers larger than their own IQ (average - 95) I have come to the conclusion that the only way to accurately express what can only be described as admiration and awe for such wonders of the mathematical realm is through writing.
Thus stays the trend of never finishing what I start. Ahem - 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512, 1,024, 2,048, 4,096, 8,192, 16,384, 32,678, 65,536, 131,072, 262,144, 524,288, 1,048,576, 2,097,152, 4,194,304, 8,388,608, 16,777,216, 33,554,432, 67,108,864, 134,217,728, some other numbers, 2,147,483,647...4,294,25...no, 42? 87?
I will continue with the Nameless Epic once I'm finished writing something rather satirical concerning the everyday person's lack of appreciation for what we are surrounded by - numbers and critical logic.
(note - I am aware I don't typically address a "lack" of something as though it was something capable of being addressed - please bear with me as I work around the barrier of it not existing!)
Blog notes -
To be honest the Nameless Epic project has garnered a large amount of interest from me as of late. I can almost guarentee that interest will take root once more come fall or winter, when I'm generally in a better mood.
I know you're reading my blog! Else I wouldn't hear about it. Please post comments though or I'll forget that important factoid.
I shan't leave you empty-minded this post! It's been too long! Here -
Primordial Soup.
And then there was silence - as all turned to face the screen (a screen big as a football field, mounted across three skyscrapers, natually) and gaze upon the inhuman wonders that were...Logic.
Each and every human being in the audience of 2,147,483,647 became simultaneously aware of two different bits of pure Information. One moment they all realized they were in fact one short of having amassed a perfect Fermat prime in the Dark Moor facing the City of Evil - and the very next moment, before they even gave a shred of thought to the notion they could have, in their midst, a prime factor! - that what they were gazing upon was pure, visually transformed, unfiltered, Logic.
